Vintage ELVIS Presley Blue Hawaii Gold Record Award with photo in white lei. Originally a Gold Record award for Elvis's 'Blue Hawaii' soundtrack released by RCA on October 20, 1961.
The album was nominated for a Grammy and featured the hit song 'Can't Help Falling in Love'. The movie was one of Elvis's favorite performances.
This award was originally made as a GOLD RECORD for RCA but became Platinum, and the new Platinum LP replaced the gold record on the award.
