How can numbers and shapes become the most exciting game? In the educational program “Thales and the Bee,” our young students become explorers! With the help of the programmable Beebot robot, children discover early mathematical concepts through hands-on experiences: they play with patterns, sort objects, experiment with balance, and master spatial awareness through coordinates and measurements.
The adventure continues as Thales introduces us to numbers (1–10) and our first arithmetic operations, while concepts such as symmetry, area, and volume become familiar to children through observation. By programming their little “bee,” children don’t just learn coding; they learn to collaborate, solve problems, and think critically—building the foundations for their future in the most enjoyable way possible!
Upon completing the program, students are able to participate in the Panhellenic STEM Festival in the Kindergarten category.
