At the moment there is a focus on the use of the Ministry’s equipment. To this end, cables are being created with which sensors can work with as many boards as possible, the STEM Extension with which we can program S1 & S2 with Mind+, Lego type building materials, Supporting materials with related lessons and books and suggestions. Seminars have been started to make use of the equipment available in schools.

The preparation of the Panhellenic Competition is in progress, for which the registration form for teams, information, the webinars for teachers’ preparation, etc. can be found here.

About Course

The “IoT and Modern Applications” educational program invites middle school students on a journey of technological exploration, starting from Mars. Inspired by the real scientific and technological challenges that accompany the colonization of another planet, students are called upon to think about how smart and reliable systems can be designed for life and research in extreme environments.

Through experiential activities and experimentation, students learn the fundamental principles of the Internet of Things (IoT) and programming, using the Adafruit CLUE development board. They discover how devices collect and process environmental data and how this data is transformed into functional, interactive applications that connect the digital world with the physical one.

The program cultivates computational and scientific thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving, helping students understand how modern technology can be applied to real-world challenges—on Earth and beyond.
